G is for gnome. I was attempting to take a picture of this tree trunk, and unknowingly found a gnome. My original thought was either that the ceramics class had left their project out there for laughs, or the property owners bought one lovely decorations to keep the woods more nature and fantasy like. It was difficult to understand what I was trying to take a picture of until I actually looked at the statue more closely. There was barely any sunlight outside, which was pretty upsetting as a ray of sunlight gliding on the statue would ave made the picture more mysterious. I ended up shooting in cloudy light, which made the black and whites of the photos stick out a little less. It was not originally ideal, but after editing the photo, I found that the lighting was perfect for my picture. I would have liked to change the positioning of my camera so I could get a better angle of the gnome and more details or the carvings.

This was a photo of honey bee going back to the bee box at my house. I was attempting to take a photo of at least three bees in one frame, but since it was cold outside, there was not much activity in the bees. This is not one of my best photos, but I feel like I got the photo representing what I wanted to achieve. To get this photo, I had to climb over the electric fence and get as close as I could to the bee box without disturbing them. The bees, since they were getting ready for winter, weren't too upset with my presence, so it was pretty easy to approach them and set up my tripod. The sun was in the clouds by the time I got to the bee boxes, so the bee did not show up as much as I wanted it to, but I managed to edit the bee to show that it was really there. I would have liked to change the lighting or have gone shooting another day, and would have liked to edit the greens back a little bit.

I love the picture of the gnome the lighting for it and how it is a black and white photo I also love the bee very cute!!!
