A few days ago, I was able to take an amazing photoshoot with one of my peers, where we took many photos. Serious photos, happy photos, confused photos, but my absolute favorite was this one: a candid photo. She was in the middle of posing for a serious shot when her friend made a funny remark which made her laugh. And my camera took the perfect shot of her laughing. I made sure to get the color of her hair to be perfectly framed in the photo, which contrasts with the yellow and oranges of the background in the library. I really enjoyed being able to capture the happiness on her face without telling her to "act like she's laughing at a funny joke." This is the emotion I want to capture whenever I shoot, and getting perfect photos are just the bonus to it.

On Friday, my photography class and I went on an amazing hike to a waterfall, and we found this spider named Richard. He may look like any other creepy crawly, but his colors are beautiful nonetheless. One of my classmates pointed out that the colors on his back looked like a face. His spider webs my favorite part of this picture although, because the design is mesmerizing as it is beautiful. I really enjoyed being able to get close to this dapper young spider, as he was very polite in his photoshoot and moved only when the sun became too much, which was about when I stopped taking photos. I loved being able to collaborate color, patterns. texture and nature into one photo.
