This is the first photo for journal #2. Abandoned. This sign was fund in front of the Natowich football field

at Brattleboro's high school. After years of sitting in the hot sun, cold rain, winter snow, and countless of storms, the sign has rusted over and looks even worse than the brand new signs the school recently installed. You can see which direction the rain and snow would always hit the sign, and how the once red letters are now a deep, rusted orange. I used a DLCR camera for this photo, as to be sure I go the perfect photograph to capture the forgotten additions of the high school.
These two pictures represent B. "But tree doesn't begin with a B!" Yes, that is true, but branches. bark and beauty do. Trees are one of the oldest living organisms on

earth, and because of trees, we have a beautiful atmosphere, and fresh air. I enjoy these trees because the branches look like they are trying to hug and envelope the sky. I also enjoy the way the sun seems to bounce off of the (right) tree's bark. The light shows the textures, and groove where the bark has grown. One side of the tree seems to be lighter and brighter than the other side, which can highlight the bark. I used a professional camera to

take all three of these pictures, as my phone wouldn't have been able to capture the beauty of the branches and the indents. The green of the leaves and the blue of the sky pop compared to the brown of the tree bark.

I love the angle you took this photo and the way you made the tree look 10X bigger.
These are really cool! I like how much detail you went into when describing these photos and the way you described the first photo made me feel like I was there to witness it all.
