Journal #6 Scapes & Closeups

Updated: Nov 30, 2022

One of the assignments we had this week was to take multiple pictures of a landscape or closeup. I took

quite a few. We went back down to the waterfall and took photos like the paparazzi. One of my absolute best photos were these two wild berries I found. They were right in front of the waterfall and using my focus, I made the background compliment the berries even more. There are some more things I could have done to make the green stems pop out a little less as to not draw so much attention away from the berries, but the photo is still amazing nonetheless. Flowers are plentiful around Vermont, but these are my favorite. You can find them about everywhere you go, and

taking pictures of them will never get old. As much as I love Marigolds, these have to take the cake. I cropped out some of the dead flowers in the photo so I would be able to really focus on the flowers that weren't dead, and it was a success. There is barely any editing done to the flowers, just the cropping and texturing the flowers o they would stand out from the background. This was my favorite to edit as I hardly had to edit it at all!
